The Cowboy Classic features an elite list of celebrity golfers and a group of very special cancer survivors. Whether you are a fan of the game, a fan of the University or playing in honor/memory of someone, the CvC Cowboy Classic is a great event with a great cause.

Meet Vivi
Vivian “Vivi” is the 7-year-old daughter of Brandon and Brandi. She has two older brothers, Rustyn and Jackson, and two favorite pets: her dogs, Willy and Ralphie.
Vivi enjoys drawing, reading, singing, and playing the piano. She values time with family and friends and stays active in gymnastics, softball, and basketball. She attends Powerhouse Kids Youth Group and helps care for the family’s farm animals, including cattle, cats, pigs, chickens, and one old, ornery horse named Red.
On February 22, 2022, at just three years old, Vivi was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She underwent treatment for more than two years and rang the bell in June 2024, marking the completion of therapy. Today, she remains in remission and continues regular follow-up visits at her oncology clinic.
Vivi’s journey reflects the strength of her family, the faith that sustained them, and the dedicated care provided by the teams at OU Children's Hospital and the Jimmy Everest Center. Her story is a reminder that childhood cancer affects entire families, but it also reveals the power of community, research, and compassionate care. Through continued support and awareness, more children like Vivi can have the opportunity not just to survive, but to grow, dream, and thrive.

The Cowboys vs. Cancer Cowboy Classic is dedicated to the memory of Matt Allen, an OSU graduate who died in 2013 at the age of 46 from brain cancer. Allen’s remarkable fight against the disease and his commitment to raise funds for the Cowboys vs. Cancer program in his final years is the inspiration for the CvC Cowboy Classic Golf Tournament.
The Matt Allen Superman Award may be given out in honor someone or in memory of someone in the fight against cancer.
