Our Mission

The Cowboys vs. Cancer Cowboy Classic Golf Tournament exists to bring Cowboy and Cowgirl fans, family and professionals together to raise money for The Eddie Sutton Foundation and Cowboys vs Cancer. This is the largest fundraising event for the OSU Cowboys vs. Cancer program.

The Cowboys vs. Cancer Cowboy Classic features an elite list of national and OSU celebrity golfers. Celebrities will be auctioned off to play with teams just prior to a shot gun start.

This year we'll be teeing off May 20, 2024 at the Stillwater Country Club Golf Course. Learn more about the 2024 Cowboy Classic golf tournament here.

The Cowboys vs. Cancer Cowboy Classic Golf Tournament is dedicated to the memory of Matt Allen, an OSU graduate who died in 2013 at the age of 46 from brain cancer. Allen’s remarkable fight against the disease and his commitment to raise funds for OSU’s Coaches vs. Cancer (now Cowboys vs Cancer) in his final years is the inspiration for the Longest Day of Golf, what is now known as the CvC Cowboy Classic Golf Tournament. “PLAY HARD AND HAVE FUN.”
